you always make looks wonderful your paintings! Metals here my favourite thing. and congrats for the economy on brushtrokes. could you take a look to my portfolio? i would be glad to receive critique from you
You have some great design sense and you seem to have the structural knowledge you need in drawing, the main thing that stands out to me as needing improvement is your color. Sometimes your colors feel universally dull and other times universally over-saturated. Maybe practice a bit with color schemes and try to push yourself to do more contrast with saturation in a single piece. I hope that helps!
i take note of that. Maybe i tend to detail on same level and as i like saturation ... i will improve it. Contrast with saturation is interesting concept, i thought i was doing well. another thing to improve it. Thanks a lot ,i admire your work.
Oh wow, well you've definitely managed to maintain the textured look you used to get from it! I knew you'd started using Photoshop more from your blog posts, but I didn't realize you'd made the move entirely. I'll have to go back and look at the post you made about getting similar brushes set up, I still haven't been able to get a textured brush set up that looks as nice as this.
I don't know that there's anything revolutionary in my brushes post, it was mostly catered toward people who were actively making the switch to photoshop (or wanting to make it). Someone as experienced as you might not find it that useful.
don't get too confused nothing personal man.I should've been more specific. From my perspective ... the coloring is amazing , but, honestly ... the line art killed it. the line art is too edgy. I know wonder woman has a tough build and a pretty face. you nailed it with the face and screwed it up with the line art. I'm happy that a talented guy like you accept criticism or critque. you've earned my respect. However, don't hesitate much with your next negative criticism you face. I frankly did'nt think you would reply.
No problem, your comment was so vague I didn't know quite how to respond at first. Now I understand and I agree. There are a lot of idiosyncrasies in the picture---I almost didn't post it but my coworkers urged me into it. But I agree with them, if you wait for a masterpiece to post anything then you can talk yourself out of everything.
