Neversink interior by Artsammich Neversink interior by Artsammich
I did a bunch of interior illustrations for Neversink, here's one of them. I'm not great with a pencil so these were tricky for me. I've been posting more on my blog: [link]

The way this piece is compositionally structured is very visually appealing, in a way. I like how there's something of a circular motion taking place here, with the column on the left looping up and over, which forms into a stalactite that points down towards the puffin... and so keeping the primary focus on him. There's nice directional eye lines as well, and I like the soft lighting you achieved with the pencil. Nice work! :)

Thanks, it's nice to put thought into something and have someone notice the effort. :)

In the stories I imagined when I was little, there was a god who was a mole. This picture reminds me of one of his temples. You made me remember one of my childhood, thanks ^ ^
